The depths of the Five Nights at Freddy’s rabbit hole have been expanding rapidly since the game’s release in 2014. Since the release of the first game, the fandom has created a unique culture of inside jokes, amazing art, and overall connection within the community.
More importantly, FNAF has played a big role in many teenagers’ childhoods. At the time of release, younger audiences were quick to attach to the game, inspiring fan parodies like fan games, fan art, and music.
Fan songs were some of the biggest and most popular pieces of media to come out of the community. “Five Nights at Freddy’s 1 Song” by The Living Tombstone sits at 403 million views on YouTube as of December 2025.
The game is famous for its detailed and well-studied lore. Online theorists have shown extensive research on putting together the hidden storyline based on gameplay of the now eight games, books, films, and DLCs.
Thrifting becomes a part of mainstream culture
Cost, sustainability, individuality. These are the three biggest reasons that people go thrifting. Thrift shops and second-hand stores have recently been experiencing a “boom” as buying secondhand becomes more popular in communities and with teenagers.
Firstly, what is causing this newfound increase in thrifting? Old styles are starting to become trendy again. Vintage, hippie, grunge, Y2K, and many more fads from the past have recently become popular again for numerous reasons. Additionally, living expenses have been on the rise along with a growing focus on staying environmentally friendly and ethical.
“
I find it exciting that thrifting has gained popularity as it reflects a growing appreciation for sustainability, affordability, and the value of giving items a second life. It shows that people care about style with a story, not just a price tag.

Exploring morality and human character with Dostoevsky
A great villain believes they are the hero of the story..
Everyone has some sort of moral compass, and the idea of a moral is something that is built into the human mind or body. Since the dawn of man, we have had moral and psychological depth, and with the help of the philosophers who proceeded, society learned a thing or two about human morality.
Crime and Punishment succeeds in exploring moral ambiguity; inner moral and psychological conflict; and the human character. Fyodor Dostoevsky is a brilliant Russian author from the 1800’s who explored and represented both the human soul and character with utter profundity and accuracy.
Throughout my reading of Crime and Punishment, I was awestruck at the depth of the characters and how accurately their feelings, dialogue, and actions were written.
In a nutshell, this book is 500 pages of brilliance written by one of the greatest Russian writers of all time.
