The United States Postal Service has officially announced that the Mountainhome Post Office will relocate to the Cresco Post Office, effective February 1, 2026.  In a letter dated December 19, 2025, USPS informed Mountainhome PO Box customers that postal operations will move to the Cresco Post Office at 6535 Route 191, Cresco, PA 18326. Cresco already serves as the local delivery route for Mountainhome, according to USPS.
