Successful end to swim season

The Stroudsburg swim team had a majorly successful end to a full season, with the last four meets having wins on both girls’ and boys’ sides. Senior Night was against East Stroudsburg on Jan. 29, the boys’ side crushed with 66-28, and the girls dominated with 58-36 points. Seniors were able to pick which events they wanted to compete in to have an ideal meet. After feeding them a well-deserved senior night potluck, the team went against Dieruff, a postponed meet due to bad weather, the very next day, on Jan. 30. Dieruff has an incredibly small swim team, and no matter how determined they were, Stroudsburg had an easy win with the boys side of 78-10 and the girls 83-3 points. Northampton, on Feb. 3, turned out to be one for the books because not only did the boys win 58-36 and the girls 55-39, but Alfred Zheng set an impressive record for the little pool.
