Hundreds of RVs, campers, and tents piled into the infield at Pocono Raceway. The energy there was so high, you would think the race already began. (June 16, 2025) – The Great American Getaway 400 presented by VISITPA.COM at Pocono Raceway on Sunday will serve as the final and pivotal Cup Series race in determining the driver seedings for the upcoming $1 million NASCAR In-Season Challenge.

On behalf of Paradise Township, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has completed preliminary plans to replace the open grate bridge carrying Red Rock Road over Paradise Creek. The horizontal alignment and vertical profile will not change but the bridge will be widened slightly to accommodate pedestrians and a larger water table. Signs and safety features will be upgraded. A driveway in proximity to the bridge will be relocated slightly to allow for upgraded safety features and improve sight distance. The downstream streambank will be fortified to prevent further erosion and sediment deposition will be removed from the stream. Four properties will be impacted by the project. No permanent right-of-way acquisition is anticipated but permanent slope easements and approximately 9,000 square feet of temporary construction easement will be required. Three overhead utility poles will require relocation and no underground facilities are present.
