Mountie Minute officially went live for the first time on September 29. The two hosts Kara Schomberg, ’26, and Jermaine Watts, ’26, introduce themselves in the beginning of their lives and talk into the Pledge of Allegiance.  Once they’re done with this they announce cycle day, sport news, academic news and what clubs are meeting everyday.  Lucas Pelaez, ’27, announces the lunch menu of the day and the anchors who turn it over to Matteo Maccarrone, ’26, for the weather. As of October 2, 2025, Jeffery Sodl, the principal of Stroudsburg High School (SHS), has been going back to doing the pledge of allegiance and announcing the rotation day. This led to Mountie Minute starting for the day. This will continue for the rest of the year.  They used to have weekly Mountie Minute posts every Monday which would be played in homeroom, but with them going live Mountie Minute will be live every day.

Description Beginning on October 27th and concluding on November 21st, Leaf trucks will circulate the roads once per week during leaf pickup (typically on Wednesday). Dates and pickups are subject to change in accordance with weather conditions. Please have all leaves prepared for pickup by the end of the day on Sunday, November 23rd. Leaf trucks will make one final sweep during the week of November 23rd. Guidelines for bulk leaf piles:All leaves to be collected must be placed on the street.Bags and rigid containers of leaves will not be collected.Do not rake twigs, branches, walnuts, sticks, rocks, garden debris, etc. with the leaves: such items cause equipment to breakdown.

On 09/24/2025 at approximately 10:00 PM 16-year-old Angelina Arroyo left a foster home located in Stroud Township. Angelina is described as a Hispanic female, 5’3”, 110 pounds, brown hair, and brown eyes. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Angelina Arroyo is asked to “Submit a tip”.
