LONG POND, Pa. (July 12, 2023) – Ally Financial Inc. (NYSE: ALLY) has signed a multi-year agreement as the entitlement sponsor of the Ally Bark Park at Pocono Raceway. The Ally Bark Park, the first permanent dog park located inside a NASCAR racetrack, will be bustling with activity during the July 21-23 Pocono 400 NASCAR race weekend.
- Action-packed on-track schedule with four races in three days is complemented by a wide assortment of activities for all ages throughout the July 21-23 weekend.
- Kids 12 and under are FREE all weekend with Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital Kids Day on Saturday, July 22, offering additional fun and activities.

LONG POND, PA (July 10, 2023) – While the NASCAR drivers will provide the excitement on track for fans during the
LONG POND, Pa.—Attorney General Michelle Henry announced that her office is again partnering with Pocono Raceway for its annual Drug Take Back event during a NASCAR race weekend at the track from July 21-23.
Attendees on all three days can bring unneeded and outdated prescription medications to the track and safely dispose of them at the OAG’s take back location outside of the main entrance at the raceway.
Two men died in a crash early Monday on Interstate 80 in the Poconos.
According to state police at Stroudsburg, two vehicles were traveling west in Tunkhannock Township, both at a high rate of speed, about 12:30 a.m. Monday. One of the two vehicles left its lane of travel and crashed into the second vehicle, sending both off the road.
Both cars rolled over several times, ejecting the drivers: Donn Innes, 68, of Weatherly and Jeffrey Bates, 31, of Danville, Montour County. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
Pa. state Rep. Maureen Madden visited Monroe County's first COVID-19 mass vaccination event at Pocono Raceway. Lehigh Valley Health Network sponsored the event, which vaccinated 3,000 people in an outdoor, drive-through setting.
