Short term rentals are only allowed in C (Commercial) zones and RD (Recreational District) zones. The Pocono Township Fire Department tells 28/22 News that crews were called around 11:00 a.m. Monday to a vehicle crash with someone possibly trapped on North Easton Belmont Pike.
POCONO TWP., MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police are searching for three dirt bike riders after they say the trio were recklessly driving in residential areas.
On July 4, the Pocono Township Police Department saw three dirt bikes driving recklessly on Route 611. Officers tried to pull the group over when they realized the vehicles were unregistered.

The Ridge at Swiftwater Planned Residential Development is proposing 356 townhouses in a development located along the western side of S.R. 0611 between Brookdale Road and S.R. 0314 in Pocono Township, Monroe County, PA. The property is approximately 84 acres with 356 equivalent dwelling units of sewage generation. The project will be served by central sewer.
POCONO TWP., MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — One man was arrested, and three men are wanted after police say a basketball game led to a fight with gun threats.
According to the Pocono Township Police Department, on July 8 around 7:00 p.m., officers were called to TLC Park basketball court for a report of 5-6 people fighting.
Through further investigation, police said they learned a disagreement between eight men happened during a basketball game that led to a fight.
