Mount Pocono Borough has been awarded a $5,000 grant from One For Nature to support the creation of a new trail near the Knob Overlook. This project will create access to a trail that allows residents and visitors to enjoy the natural beauty of the Pocono Mountains. This is the second consecutive year that One For Nature has supported the Knob Overlook. Last year, their funding helped install directional signage, highlighting the area’s significance and breathtaking views.

Exciting news for Mount Pocono! The Borough has been awarded a $600,000 grant from the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) to fund long-overdue improvements to Pine Hill Road. This critical project will enhance safety at one of our most challenging intersections by widening the road, installing a traffic light, and adding essential features to improve visibility and traffic flow. Anyone who has tried to pull out of Pine Hill Road knows how difficult—and dangerous—it can be.
