Short Term Rental Information
The Borough of East Stroudsburg enacted a short term rental ordinance in 2021. The ordinance requires licensing and a list of requirements including the use of a private trash hauler. Zoning regulations limit the licenses to Commercial and Industrial areas, properties in residential areas will need a variance. Details can be found in the East Stroudsburg STR Ordinance. Brown’s Bill Supporting Mothers and Midwives Passes Senate
East Stroudsburg University’s Gender and Sexuality Center was recognized with a monetary donation of $1,250 from the Pocono Pride Coalition (PPC), a part of the Community Foundation of Monroe County.
The center was selected as a beneficiary of this year’s Champions of Pride celebration because of the essential work the center does to support students in the LGBTQ+ community.
