Description NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGTO ENACT PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO. 278TAKE NOTICE that the Paradise Township Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., for the purpose of enacting proposed Ordinance No. 278, which Ordinance amends Chapter 1 General Provisions (Definitions), to coordinate existing definitions with definitions found in amended Chapter 110 Sewage. The hearing will be convened during the regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors which starts at 6:00 p.m., at the Paradise Township Municipal Building, 5912 Paradise Valley Road, Paradise Valley, PA. After the hearing and during the continuance of the regular meeting, the Board will consider, if in order, the passage of Ordinance No. 278 as well as other business coming before the Board at that time. During the annual homecoming tailgate on October 11, East Stroudsburg University’s Department of Athletic Training concluded its 50th anniversary celebration with a gathering of students and faculty who have been a part of the program through the decades. The program’s founding members, John Thatcher, Lois Wagner and Mert Shane, were present during the Homecoming Tailgate where they were honored for their vision for the athletic training program.
