East Stroudsburg University’s Department of Athletic Training will host a golf tournament as part of the program’s 50th anniversary celebration. The tournament will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, at Green Pond Country Club, 3604 Farmersville Rd, Bethlehem, Pa. Registration for the four-person scramble begins at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Participants can sign up as a team or as a single golfer. Prizes will be awarded for longest drive, closer to the pin, and a hole in one challenge. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit ESU’s Athletic Training Education Program. East Stroudsburg University Foundation (ESUF) launched its first-ever Athletics Giving Day on April 9, 2025, rallying the Warrior community in a dedicated 24-hour effort to support ESU athletics. The day was a resounding success, generating more than $30,000 in donations from over 300 supporters, including alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends of the university. Athletics Giving Day was created to highlight the importance of athletics at ESU and to provide student-athletes with the resources they need to thrive. The initiative focused on engaging the university community and emphasizing the role athletics plays in promoting leadership, discipline, teamwork and school spirit.
