Pocono, PA. The primary driver of the Pine Hill Well PFAS/Mn Treatment Improvements Project is to ensure compliance with current and future US Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Maximum Contaminant Levels (MCLs) for PFAS and PFOA. This Project's scope includes the demolition of the existing wellhouse and construction of a new treatment facility at the existing Summit Point well station, as well as disposal of process wastewater, and other related work. The new treatment facility will include GAC adsorbers for the removal of PFAS, and green sand filters will be added to comply with secondary MCLs associated with iron and manganese.
