TOBYHANNA, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A woman is facing charges, police say she was found walking, covered in blood, after a stabbing. On July 21, around 9:50 p.m., officers were called to Starlight Terrace in Tobyhanna for a reported stabbing. While police were responding to the scene, they said reports came in for a woman walking on Winding Way, covered in blood. The suspect, identified as Colleen Hall, 56, of Tobyhanna, was combative when police attempted to arrest her, kicking an officer in the chest. Teen arrested for allegedly stabbing man’s face According to the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department, the victim, a 71-year-old man, claimed he lived with Hall, and she stabbed him, unprovoked, in the face and chest.

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEXSTAR) — State health officials warned about potential measles exposure in two Capital Region hospitals after an infected Vermonter sought treatment. This local alert came as the U.S. faces its largest measles outbreak in a quarter-century as debate wears on over the federal response. On Friday, the New York State Department of Health announced potential exposures at Albany Medical Center and Saratoga Hospital. An adult from Vermont who recently traveled internationally visited the emergency departments at both facilities before doctors diagnosed the highly contagious disease. "The patient arrived masked and was immediately isolated at the hospital," said Dr. Jason Mouzakes, Executive Vice President and Hospital General Director at Albany Medical Center, adding that DOH was notified.
