On November 23, 2025, at 10:33 p.m. the Stroud Area Regional Police were dispatched to the Burger King on Lincoln Avenue, East Stroudsburg for a report of a male passed out in the bathroom.  The male was identified as James Odonnell.  Odonnell was taken into custody and search incident to arrest found he had in his possession drug paraphernalia and wax paper folds containing a white powder, suspected to be heroin.  Odonnell was transported to the SARPD for completion of charges and then transported to the Monroe County Correctional Facility for commitment.

Charges were filed and a bench warrant was issued for James Brian Odonnell after he failed to appear for his court appearance.
