On October 16th 2025 at approximately 0816 hours Pocono Township Police Officers were dispatched to the area of Merry Hill Drive and Crescent Drive in Barton Glen for a suspicious vehicle parked on an access road. Upon arrival Officers located a gray Kia with New York registration on the access road that was parked beyond a locked gate. Officers made contact with a man, later identified as  Vladimer Pataridze who was sleeping in the back of the vehicle. When investigating the incident Pataridze refused to supply his information or answer why he was parked on an access road and became belligerent with officers claiming that he was on his property. Pataridze was detained and after being told that he was not to be on the road or past the locked gate. Once released Pataridze began to leave the area, then stopped on the access road and exited his vehicle and aggressively approached a Pocono Township Police Officer, getting close to him while holding his cellular telephone and acting belligerently. The Defendant was then placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct (M3)and Defiant Trespass(M3), he was then processed and released. Charges have been filed.
