On Thursday, May 1, 2025, the Stroudsburg Boysâ baseball team delivered a commanding 16-1 victory over the Pocono Mountain West Panthers in a game that ended after just three innings, thanks to a 12-hit performance by the Mounties. The blowout win capped off an emotional and celebratory Senior Night, as the team honored seven of its outstanding, hard-working seniors.
With the win, Stroudsburg improves to 12-5 and maintains its top spot in the Eastern Penn Mountain Conference.

Anna Kirby, â25, competed in the PA State Swim Championships in March, culminating one of the greatest swimming careers in Stroudsburg history.
This was her second time competing at the prestigious event, a testament to her skill and dedication to the sport. In her first time last year, Kirby placed in the top 20 in the 50 freestyle and was not able to qualify for the 100 freestyle.
