Homeschool Easter Egg Hunt

We are excited to offer an Easter Egg Hunt for one of our Homeschool Days. Please arrive between 10:00AM-10:30AM to check in. The Egg Hunt will begin right at 11:00. Please note that this is still one of our Homeschool Days, so it is still $5 per participating child, younger siblings are welcome, and Parent/guardian must stay as this is not a drop off event. Bring a picnic lunch and stay after to hike the trails!

PPL Electric impacted by data breach

PPL Electric Utilities has disclosed a data breach.

It's tied to the 2023 breach involving MOVEit, a type of file transfer software. Hackers were able to steal files from companies and agencies around the world, including the U.S. Department of Energy. 

A Russian ransomware group has claimed responsibility for the attacks.

Two Arrested for Endangering the Welfare of Children in Stroud Township Residence

The Monroe County District Attorney’s Office, Criminal Investigations Division Detective Kim Lippincott has arrested and charged Jessica Walters, 35 and Robert Nochella, 35, both of Stroud Township.

Detectives were requested to respond with a supervisor at Monroe County Children and Youth to the residence located in Stroud Township which is occupied by Walters, Nochella, and their two minor children. The supervisor had concerns that Jessica Walters was using fentanyl in the home around the children.
