The Fifth Annual Pocono Pride Festival filled the streets of downtown Stroudsburg Sunday afternoon. A huge crowd turned out for the event featuring dozens of food and craft vendors. Pride flags hung from light posts, and live performances from musicians to drag performers filled the festival's center stage. New Distracted Driving Law To Go Into Effect A new distracted driving law in Pennsylvania known as the Paul Miller's Law is going into effect on Thursday, June 5, 2025.  This new law is a PRIMARY offense and prohibits any driver from using   any interactive handheld mobile device to send, read or write a text-based communication while operating a motor vehicle, even while stopped at a traffic light, stop sign or any other momentary delay. Penalties:      -  The penalty for the first 12 months is a written warning.      -  Starting June 5, 2026, the fine is $50 plus court costs and other fees.      -  There are no points.
