On April 8, 2026, Stroudsburg Varsity baseball took on Emmaus at home. After a tight, thrilling seven inning game, the Mountaineers came out on top after a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh.
The win was expected. Emmaus’ record stands at 5 wins, 4 losses, and Stroudsburg has 2 wins, 6 losses. However, Stroudsburg played numerous well-developed and quality teams. They suffered losses from East Stroudsburg South, Pocono Mountain East, Easton Area, Whitehall, Liberty, and Northampton. Nonetheless, the Mounties persevered. They swept over the Pleasant Valley Bears with a score of 12-1 at Coca-Cola Park in Allentown.

Damian Budhai, ’27, tripled on a fly ball to left field. Ryan Pacitti, ’27, singled to shortstop. After three outs, the Mounties led 2-1.
Jack Hiscott, ’28, singled in the bottom of the seventh inning, tying the game 4-4. Matteo Maccarrone, ’26, hit a game-ending walk-off single, turning the score over to 5-4.
