Jerrod Belvin has resigned from his position as Pocono Township manager.
On April 3, Belvin confirmed to the Pocono Record that he had resigned “for a new opportunity.”
When asked if he wanted to make a statement on the morning of April 6, the day of the township commissioners' meeting, Belvin texted that he did not have a statement at that time, nor could he disclose where he was going.
On May 20, 2024, Belvin’s resignation from the Pocono Township Board of Commissioners was unanimously accepted, and he was hired as manager, effective June 5, 2024, succeeding Taylor Muñoz. The motion to hire was a 3-1 vote, with Ellen Gnandt, today the president of the Board of Commissioners, opposed.
