Returning passenger rail services to Northeastern Pennsylvania has been a priority of Congressman Cartwright since first joining Congress, and on Friday, December 8 he announced that our rail project has qualified for federal funds.

On Nov. 30, 2023, 35 students were awarded Most Improved for the first marking period. The award included a certificate from the teacher it was from plus, Mr. Larthey handed out a special Mountaineers pencil and one free personal dress down for any day of the week. SCRANTON – The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced that Walter Kenneth Parfaite, age 35, of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, was sentenced to 72 months’ imprisonment by U.S. District Court Judge Malachy E.
